Who we are
Mlýn Cibotín is a family-run place. It is owned and run by a family who live in the village of Cibotín. We are locals — the mill is our work and a place we have carefully restored for guests, weddings and gatherings. We look forward to welcoming you.
Mill History
The first written mention of the mill in Cibotín dates back to 1328 from the urbarium of the Pohled monastery. It was completely rebuilt around 1670, and the current appearance of the mill house dates from the last reconstruction in 1940. The water mill on the Jitkovský stream ceased operation in 1959.
The only preserved historical part is the mill house with complete original equipment; everything else we have sensitively completed for contemporary use. This created a space for accommodation, weddings and corporate events in the picturesque landscape of Vysočina.
Today, guests can enjoy the peace of nature, the hospitality of our team, and the opportunity to tour the preserved mill house by prior arrangement.
